To provide an effective recycling service to the local community. To raise awareness of environmental issues. To provide people with vocational skills and training in an industrial environment. |
On a daily basis B.E.A.T team members visit local business organisations to collect and process for recycling waste paper, card, plastic and aluminium packaging.
They provide a valued waste collection and recycling service to local business organisations and the community as a whole, they operate from an industrial unit on Macduff Industrial Estate.
| B.E.A.T seeks to reduce social exclusion
and enable people opportunities to develop social and vocational networks within their
local community. Team members are encouraged to contribute to the decision making process helping to promote confidence. |

B.E.A.T provides a safe environment in which people through individual planning can develop specific skills in communication, health and safety, conservation and process manufacturing .
